All profiles and photos must be acceptable with our terms and conditions. Also, Passport Village reserves the right to examine & approve profiles and photos before they are seen by other members. Icon Photo is your Display photo which attract other members to your profile. Note that, even where Members may be seeking only friendship and not romance, profiles with a photo get more responses than without.

You can search for members in 2 ways. The first option is by the "Quick Search," which lets you perform easy search of all users who have birthday today, id, who's online, those on your interest list, or new members. Or you can use the "Advance Search" option where you can find other Members based on extremely specific criteria. Nearly every field from the profile creation process is searchable with this search feature, allowing you to get search results for a Village match.

To view members online, from your homepage click on Quick Search, scroll down, then click on Who's Online. Until you use the Log Off menu feature, you will remain in the Who's Online list. When Members are online, they can instant message each other and Chat in real time right on the site.

Some members don't always know what to say in a typed message, or might not have time to send a message to several different people. The “Send a Postcard” feature allows them to let someone know they are interested in meeting them simply by clicking a link.

When you log onto our site and register with personal information, we use very strong encryption to send data back and forth, from you to our servers. We keep your personal identifiable information very confidential. Any information we collect (your real e-mail address, etc..) which could lead to someone else contacting you outside of this site and without your desire, is kept from the view of other members and third-parties. Whenever we discover a member who is suspicious or has the potential to defraud other members, they are deleted immediately.
